Using the zoom program on your computer create a new meeting.

How do you use breakout rooms in zoom on ipad. Next up enter the sharing key and hit ok. Under the meeting tab in meeting advanced. Sign in to the zoom web portal. You will see a pop out where you can create rooms and control participants in each breakout room. Make the window bigger or find breakout rooms by clicking the more button.

When the meeting starts click breakout rooms at the bottom of the screen. Click the icon which should look like four squares then choose. Under in meeting advanced you can enable the breakout room feature. Navigate to the breakout room option on the meeting tab and verify that the setting is enabled. You can also assign during the party by heading to the breakout rooms icon at the bottom of the screen on your meeting control bar.

Go to zoom us sign into your account using your zoom credentials and navigate to your account settings. Let zoom split your participants up evenly into each of the rooms. If the setting is disabled click the toggle to enable it. In the panel to the left under personal select settings. Click the number box or the arrows inside it to choose how many breakout rooms you want to create.

Select the number of rooms you would like to create and how you would like to assign your participants to those rooms. Click create breakout rooms. Once enabled you can create breakouts during your meetings by clicking on the breakout rooms icon in the lower right hand side of your toolbar. Open the zoom app on your device now tap on the meet chat tab at the bottom left corner next tap on share screen. A dialog box will pop up with some initial settings for how to create breakout rooms in zoom.

In the navigation menu click settings. If a verification dialog displays choose turn on to verify the change. Choose which participants you would like in each room. Once you are on zoom s website sign in using your zoom credentials. Click on the more button on the far right to find the breakout rooms option there.
